The Nisaab Education Science and Technology Research Journal in Urdu (NESTRJU) is a peer-reviewed International Urdu journal dedicated to promoting and disseminating high-quality research in the field of education in Urdu language. The publishing of a paper in a peer-reviewed Urdu journal is a critical component in the establishment of a cohesive and well-respected knowledge network. It is a direct reflection of the author’s and the institutions that support them’s job excellence. The scientific process is supported and embodied by peer-reviewed papers. As a result, it’s critical to agree on ethical conduct expectations.

Ethics topics to consider when publishing:

  • Authorship of the paper: Authorship should be restricted to those who contributed significantly to the study’s idea, design, execution, or interpretation.
  • Plagiarism and originality: The writers should make sure that they have authored wholly unique works, and that any work or words borrowed from others have been properly cited or quoted.
  • Data availability and retention: Authors may be required to contribute raw data in conjunction with an article for editorial review, and they should be willing to make such data available to the public.
  • Multiple, duplicate, or contemporaneous publishing: In general, an author should not submit submissions detailing the same study in more than one journal or primary publication. The following uses of a work are not considered prior publication by NESTRJU: Publication as an abstract, as an academic thesis, or as an electronic pre-print.
  • Acknowledgement of sources: Proper acknowledgement.
  • Conflicts of interest and disclosure: All submitted papers must disclose any ties that might be seen as posing a possible conflict of interest.
  • Fundamental mistakes in published works: It is the author’s responsibility to quickly alert the journal editor or publisher of a substantial error or inaccuracy in his or her own published work, and to work with the editor to retract or fix the publication.
  • Reporting guidelines: Authors of original research should include an accurate explanation of their work as well as an objective evaluation of its importance.
  • Dangers and human or animal subjects: If the work contains substances, processes, or equipment that has any special hazards inherent in their usage, or if it involves the use of animal or human subjects, statements of compliance are necessary.
  • Use of patient photos or case details: Studies involving patients or volunteers require ethics committee permission and informed consent, both of which must be reported in the publication.
